As we head into the Fifa World Cup quarter-finals this weekend, we can’t help but reflect on some of the jaw-dropping and inspiring feats we’ve witnessed throughout this tournament. For example, Russia landed a spot in the quarter-final for the first time since 1970 and England put an end to their infamous shootout jinx.
With the competition narrowed down from 32 to 8, remaining teams are bringing their all to the field, and we’re happy to record and share it with you in our free World Cup Dashboard. See details below on some of the neat features you can find as well as how to download the dashboard to your mobile device.
Just download the Sweetspot app for iOS or Android and select “Sports fans try it free”. Registration is not required.
From the home screen, select the period you’d like to visualize from the drop-down menu at the top. For full tournament coverage, select June 14th as the start date.
To filter the dashboard by groups or specific teams, select them from the drop-down filter at the top of the screen.

Compare interesting stats along the way such as the Probability Evolution. This is a direct representation of the odds recorded in Oddsportal. If we compare stats on all 32 teams vs. the final 8 we can see Brazil remains the leading contender. However, strong teams like Spain held the highest probability scores until they were eliminated by Russia in the round of 16 — ouch!
