Sweetspot Intelligence is one of four pure-play marketing dashboard solutions mentioned by Gartner’s October 2016 Market Guide for Marketing Dashboards.
The new Gartner report (first ever to expressly cover this market) includes a reference to ten different vendors across three categories: pure-play marketing dashboard solutions, digital marketing analytics vendors who offer dashboards, and cloud BI tools that sell to marketers.
According to the report, the emphasis of the said pure-play solutions is on:
■ Data connectivity: The resource requirement for IT is minimal for these solutions, which feature dozens of API connectors to essential marketing platforms.[C3]
■ Marketing measurement: Solutions feature marketing-specific dashboard templates and suggested, calculated metrics, such as reach, engagement rate and return on ad spend (ROAS). As such, the goal of vendors’ roadmaps is to continue to provide features to serve marketers.
■ Options for sharing: The ability to share reports in multiple formats allows dashboard creators to disseminate insights. These vendors tend to favor clean, beautiful visualizations and multimedia widgets, which cater to marketers’ creative and aesthetic preferences.
